People of Terra Guide
Canids (Canis Sapiensis) are the only surviving sepient species on Terra. They are characterized by their bipedality, high intelligence and the fur covering their bodies. Canids have large brains compared to their body size which allow them to form complex thoughts and adapt to various enviroments which they might find themselves in.
Canids are very social, often forming networks of bonds with creatures of the same species around them, including forms such as basic family units, communities, or even whole cultures and societies. They are also capable of creating complex tools and perform complex tasks. On top of that their large and sensitive ears paired with light-sensitive eyes help them with coordination in their surroundings. Canids also have a powerful biting force of around 300 PSI paired with their large, sharp teeth adapted for fighting and meat consumption.
Canids have adapted throughout centuries of their existance on Terra due to the need for adaptation to their surroundings through evolution. As of right now there are 8 subspecies, also called phenotypes, of canids identifies
Afarid (Canis Sapiensis Afaris)
Group characterized by brown fur with black markings and spots, large dark-colored snouts, medium pointy ears and no underfur. Native to the continent of Afar. Closely related to Yarid. Nowadays commonly occurs in Aroco due to colonialism and slavery.
